'70 Chevrolet Grill F/S
Well I asked in the WIW section and got no response so will give it my best shot. Original GM grill removed from a '70 Chevy 3/4 ton. The tabs at one end have a small section missing at one tab above and one tab below. Still mounted firm. Could use small washer to increase pressure when mounting. The rest of the grill is intact with no cracks or damage. Will ship for actual shipping charges and buyer's shipping container request. Wrapped and shipped in a cardboard box or build a wood frame box and cover with MDF or some such wood paneling. Will do my best to "scrounge" material so that cost is low, then actual shipping costs via UPS insured. $60 for the grill plus boxing material if requested and needed.

Re: '70 Chevrolet Grill F/S
Lots of looks but no takers? Am I too high or does shipping kill any interest?

Re: '70 Chevrolet Grill F/S
Good price IMHO! Might want to get an estimated ship cost for those that might be concerned about it (over estimating)

Re: '70 Chevrolet Grill F/S
I thought the price was good but am unsure about a shipping cost as that varies with the distance between myself and the buyer. I can build a box and pack it with wrapping/foam but the distance makes the shipping costs.

Re: '70 Chevrolet Grill F/S
Actually I was just edjumacated on this recently. All repops are 70's with the raised portion....but they're not painted correctly with the black on the basic sections and silver on the raised. The 69's are the ones that aren't reproduced. They were just the simple egg crate with no raised areas.

Re: '70 Chevrolet Grill F/S
I'll defer to someone on this as I really don't know. Will buy what VA72C10 says as being correct, sounds right to me. For the shipping on the grill I figure to frame a box using 1x6 or 1x8 pine whichever is needed and then cover with some used paneling or such. Run some 1x2's cross ways under the panel and bubblewrap & or foam wrap the grill. That is when some one actually seems interested. Other wise I guess it hangs on the wall in the shop.
