Van Tilt Steering Columns for our trucks.

Does anybody know a good source for parts to rebuild these with?

Do they use the same bearings and turn signal switch as the 67-72 tilt columns?

Are the shift collars available? I have a good tilt column that has a cracked collar.

Thanks guys.

Re: Van Tilt Steering Columns for our trucks.

okay I have a couple questions.. I found a van tilt and the guy wants 85 bucks for it.. Here are some pics.. should i buy or hold off? I have a 67 that I am putting a 700r4 so I know I will need to get a new indicator for the 4 sp change..

Sorry to somewhat hijack the thread but it relates to your ques kinda.. Thanks

If you are lucky enough to find one in a junk yard, they are about $45-$75 range. If you don't buy it, give me the guys number, I will buy it!

Yes i willl be buying it just wanted to get another opinion. By the pics this should work in a truck right? I have seen the how toos on colapsing the intermidiate shaft etc... so I know its not plug in play but this is a true van tilt correct?

I think 73-82 van columns work.. also keep an eye out for mobile home tilts they fit and dont require as much modifications as the vans.
