Crossmember question
I have a 67 K10 that had a 292 in it. The P.O. took out all crossmember parts and put in an aftermarket hotrod tubular member. I have been wanting to put it back to stock. I have a 68 two wheel drive with a good 250 in it. I also have a crossmember from a 72 4x4 blazer. My question is, can I use the crossmember from the 4x4 and the engine stands for the 2x4?

Re: Crossmember question
I would assume so. if you were closer i would swap you my stock 67 c10 2wd crossmember for that awful hot rod tubular member. i dont know if theres any difference between the 2wd and 4wd but with my knowledge of gm products its usually just the motor mount stands that make the difference. i also have a full set of wheels (5) from a 72 k10 blazer 4x4 6 lugger id throw in on the trade if you really want to be original.

Re: Crossmember question
I don't think you would want it. Don't know who made, might even have been home made. It is sitting on top of the lower frame rail and doesn't even reach the side frame rails. It was welded in poorly and I'm not sure what it will look like when I get it out. Thanks for your input on the crossmember.
