Angry 1971 A/C R134a Retrofit - Low Pressure Schrader Valve stuck

Good morning,

I was trying to remove the low pressure side R-12 Schrader valve to retrofit a R134a valve to make an assesment on my dormant A/C system.

The Schrader valve unscrewed to the top of the 1/4 flare nipple, but now turns within the nipple. Should I use needle nose pliers to extract from here?

Is it stuck to the seal?

Thanks,

Frank

If you unscrewed all the way pull it out with a needle nose pliers. If there is any part of the core stuck you can remove with a pick or a small easy out.
