need help? on my 67 350 starter just grinds

My 67 350 truck wont start not sher if its the 14'in flywheel or rong starter Any help would be great

pull the starter look at the teeth of the flywheel and starter to see if the teeth are in good shape, rotate the engine by hand to insure all is loose there if thats fine take the starter down to your local O'riellys or autozone to have the starter checked to see if all is working properly and cross reference the starter to the books to make sure its the correct unit. if all is right and still grinds then you need to shim the starter for proper contact if it is still grinding then you need a new flywheel
