bed to frame

Looking for some input. Thinking of avoiding the recessed hole through the wood to attach the bed to frame and opting to recess the bottom side of the wood to clear the bolt head that attaches the box to frame. Has anybody done this and what would the pros/cons be other then having an issue if you need to remove the box someday? Thanks

Re: bed to frame

i think pros-pick,mar-k, or somebody makes kits for this so you see no bolts in wood or center stips.
