Where does the glove box light mount at?

I just got an 82 chevy and I have some sort of light dangling under the dash. Its either the ash tray light or glove box light. It is a bulb mount connected to 2 white wires which goes to the door pins and 2 other wires which supply 12v. Does anyone know where this mount connects to or should be located at?

Thanks!

it should just clip or screw under the dash. its your floor light when you open the door. there is one above the rear window and one under the dash.... and thats it!

I have been thinking about putting in a glovebox light, but I can't find a small switch that will work. I know I could pull one from a junked car, but I want a small one and all the smaller ones are open when the glovebox is open, opposite of what I am trying to do.
