Re: 2 Door Tahoe?
Canada wouldn't be bad! I know,I know it shouldn't make a difference, but I'm being honest and it does! Maybe I would feel better after I rebuilt the "whole" thing!

Re: 2 Door Tahoe?
There was a pic I believe in truckin some years ago that showed a NBS 2 door tahoe being sold in Mexico. I know a guy that tried to have one imported with no success. I have never seen a pic other than the one in the magazine of any others though.

Re: 2 Door Tahoe?
I did see a few years ago an american shop cut down a 4 door Tahoe and built a 2 door, that might be what you seen. I can look for the mag if you want, I think I still have it.

Re: 2 Door Tahoe?
heres a link to a 2004 2dr thy never produced and has since been scrapped...
Also, there was a guy in cali that built a 97 2dr into the 2007 SS tahoe. the signs it wasn't a read 07 were the windows. he skinned it, swapped front clips, did taillights, rear bumper, and converted it to 6 lug...o yea it laid out on 24's too... i couldn't find pics this morning..

Re: 2 Door Tahoe?
well the photo from the video link wasn't too bad, just not what i was expecting. it was a little longer than i expected and the back side window has too much of a slant for my liking. but then again if these had been produced they wouldn't be so bad looking

Re: 2 Door Tahoe?
yes, but the nbs prototype is a little too long and the window angle is a little funky in my opinion.

Re: 2 Door Tahoe?
Lots of intersting info and some cool custom jobs, but no, no GMT800 2 door Tahoes.
Pertaining to the original post, if you're interested in a GM vehicle and want to know the country of Origin (final assembly) just look at the VIN. The FIRST digit will tell what country it is from: 1 = USA 2 = Canada (The Canadian plants are know for excellent quality and my Z71 came from there.) 3 = Mexico

Re: 2 Door Tahoe?
I have definatly seen the skinned OBS tahoe, the one I saw in the mag definatly looked OE. From what I remember it was white Z71 with black flares and was a little muddy.
