Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Did a little more tuning too the carb and used it like a truck! Also put the original hub caps back on.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I finally got off of my lazy butt. After a year of running around in primer I'm going to finish my paint job. 98% of the body work was done months ago. I had gotten to a point and stopped. Meanwhile a few other projects were done in front of it.

I backed it into the shed, and my son and I pulled it apart today. It's almost funny how fast you can strip one of these trucks down. I hope to start painting tomorrow.

For now, Yes. Old habits are hard to break. I might go two tone later on.

I got the inside of the bed painted this evening. It turned out pretty nice. The prep work of stripping, sanding, and knocking the dings out of the bed floor took so long, I hope it was worth the effort. I hope to get the cab, hood, door panels, and tailgate sprayed tomorrow.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Put on my Lokar shifter linkage on my 700R4 , it's way better than the mickey mouse set-up the PO had on there(zip ties should not be used on shifter linkages!!!) Still waiting on my engine from my builder, getting frustrated it's been a day or two for at least a week now.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Got my new stainless fuel lines (tank to pump) in today. Plan on removing the old lines, then installing the new ones. I also need to bend my own line to go from the pump to the carb.
