Door latch / tumbler help
I think the tumbler for my door latch has finally worn out. It seems if I close the door a certain number of times (4 or 5) the tumbler gets around to the good one, I suppose, and actually latches. The driver door has always been a little fussy to close, and the return spring on the thumb press on the outside handle has a history of sticking. Usually I just squirt some WD40 around the thumb press and it helps for a while. But now I'm having some real difficulty with getting the door to latch.
How involved is it to replace the latch? Is it worth, or even possible, to take the latch off and try to rebuild the tumbler in some way? Or is there something that just needs to be tightened and / or adjusted to fix the issue (best possible / cheapest solution). Thanks in advance for any and all help. Adam |

Re: Door latch / tumbler help
A good adjusting, line it up perfect with the jamb, usually helps a bunch too, both of my doors shut when a breeze comes by
