Re: 4 link

I would recommend this one, I have used it and it is VERY well built.

Suicide Doors Products are top notch in my opinion.

Bag on bar rides alot better than bag over axle.

That is the exact kit I used on mine, except I used THESE brackets for the lower bag mounts on my bars.

All of Suicide doors stuff is beefy and well made, and the fit on the brackets is dead on. All I had to do was bevel the edges so I would get the best penetration with my welds, no fitting of the brackets for my axel or frame tabs was needed. Their rear bolt in setup is real nice too, it just wasnt out when I did my rear setup.

Their are some pros and cons of running a triangulated 4 link with bags on the bars, as well as a parallel 4 link with bags over axel. You to lose some space with a triangulateed 4 link, however you dont have to run additional links to center your rear end, and get a great ride with the bags on the bars. Mine redes AWESOME, in fact better than my wifes Lexus. just plan on cutting out more of your bed floor than if you run a parallel 4 link setup. This however is not an issue if you plan on raising the entire bed floor. A parallel 4 link takes up less room, you wont have to cut out as much of your floor, however you will need something to center your axel such as a panhard bar or a watts link. I would suggest a watts link, as you wont have your axel shift from side to side when you raise or lower your truck like with a panhard bar. Also bags over axel is better for towing, but you sacrafice a little of a smoother ride and lift if you mount them this way. If you do mount them over the axel, look into some sleeve bags for the best ride.

In the end, its up to you and what comprimises you decide to make and what works for your needs. You cant go wrong with Suicide Doors, or Porterbuilt either. Both make great parts and offer good support for their products. Post up some pics when you get started on it!
