5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

Just got these in today. Took me about 20 min. to put em' on after I unboxed them. Not a bad item very nice and come powdercoated. And really not bad for $80.

I don't have a manufac. for them. They are pretty strong. I jumped on the frame a little bit after I put them on. But i also dont have my shocks on yet either.

Are these the springs you bought? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-...item27bae0cc6e I don't see the adjustable panhard bar available from this seller.

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

Well I got my springs on the way at least. I couldn't hold out for 3 more days so I hit the "Buy it now" button and paid the extra $9... Just need an adjustable panhard bar now to square things up.

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

I put mine in last night. It's a half ton shortbed. I measured before and after. It came down a hair over 6 inches with about 10 gallons of fuel in the fuel cell. Seems to ride fine. Maybe a little soft. It's pretty close to the bump stops right now. I'll try and get some pics when I'm not driving the wheels off it!

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

I put mine in with the bed on last night. Just jacked it up and pulled the wheels. Took about a half hour and part of that is because I had to heat the threads in the one cup with a torch to "assist" it in coming apart. Thanks for the link USMCCHEVY!

Re: 5" Rear drop springs from Ebay

My stock track bar sits just a little bit uphill. It went just past level. I couldn't get a good picture because my fuel cell blocks most of the view. I'm going to measure how square the axle sits in there this weekend and determine what I will do for a track bar but will most likely buy the adjustable one off of eBay.
