Seat Dilemma

So, I just put new floors, floor supports, cab mounts, shocks, carpet, sound deadner and sway bar bushings in my 70 cst. Some for comfort some out of pure need. Well...now I want a more modern seat and want a intergrated shoulder harness. I like the Tahoe second row idea, but would like year and model choices to look for on CL and in the yards and/or other options. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you Timmy

Re: Seat Dilemma

2001 - 2006 Tahoe/Suburban second row seats. Why not run the front seats from same year truck or suv? I have a set of the front seats in mhy 68 and am very happy with fit and fell. Check toward end of my build thread for some pics.

Re: Seat Dilemma

I agree... 2000-2007 Chevy/GMC truck front seats work great... just remeber to mount them securley as the seatbelts are attached to the seat and not the cab.
Also keep in mind, the electric power seats from ( I believe) 2003 and newer have a multi-pin connection that could prove difficult to wire. I believe 2002 and older have a simpler two wore connection...

Re: Seat Dilemma

I was going to run the second row seat to hide the tank. After looking at that link I guess I could just cover it with fabric. Man you guys just have the best ideas and knowledge. Thank You.
