http://www.autoblueprint.com/1971_pa..._photopg1.html It's like 7 pages...but it chronicles the interior change I did to my 71 C-10 using Wiseguy's bucket seats. Hope this helps. |

The brackets are on the seat, just drill new holes and plug the old ones. The seats just bolt in, it is real easy.

Re: Question on a 1970 GMC Buckets Seats Install?
Morning Mike
I put BMW buckets in my truck and wanted them low ..I stripped them down to the tracks cut a piece of 1/4"x2" flat stock...fitted the plates to the stock holes in the floor, just lay them over the factory holes with some weight on top then went under the truck with a sharpie and poked though the holes to mark the plates...my plates go across the truck...drilled out the holes and dropped in a bolt in each corner...placed the seat in the truck and sat in them to find a comfy placement that allows track movement front to back..marked the holes on the plate..took everything out drilled the plates for the seat and bolt them onto the seat..throw the hole thing back in the truck and bolt back into the factory holes.... It was easy and this way there is no fussing with extra holes or plating new bolt holes,Plus if I ever want to put the stock seat back in it will take 10 min or for that matter any other seat
