seat and seat covers

I have two seats to choose from but both need new covers, the problem is I have no idea what year the seats are to order the right cover. Is there any way to tell?

The grey/black one appears to be out of a 67-72? The handle and shape of the seat lead me to believe that it is year correct.

Re: seat and seat covers

I thought the blue one looked more like it was out of a 71 or 72 and the black/grey one was mid 80's. I just want to be sure to order the right cover so I don't have to send it back. The cover I want only fits 71/72's....

Re: seat and seat covers

I measured the bolt holes on the seat mount and they match up to the wholes in the floor, does this mean I can get a cover for a 71/72 seat?

Re: seat and seat covers

My seat had a metal tag attached to the back rest.
It had a date stamp on it.
