3/4 Ton Rear End / Disc Front
I have 2 3/4 ton rear ends. First one, an Eaton HO 52 non-locker, unknown gear, removed from a 69' Chevy with coils. Second, looks like a GM 14 bolt?, currently in a 72' GMC, non-locker, unknown gear. Complete 3/4 ton 8 lug front disc brake set up from a 72' GMC, will be cut behind the crossmember. $100 each piece, pickup only. Any questions? please ask, I'll do my best to answer, but I am not real up on 3/4 ton stuff. Thanks, Greg

Re: 3/4 Ton Rear End / Disc Front
If you are interested in selling parts...and they are in usable good condition...I am interested in both upper/lower control arms from front end...I you will break up...How much for those.
Thanks, Alan |

Re: 3/4 Ton Rear End / Disc Front
I know you said pickup only, and I respect that, but I only need the chuck style pumkin housing out of the '69 rear. Depending on shipping fees for something that heavy (but not really that big) I would pay you what you want for the entire rear if you'd do that. Again, I understand if no. If you want to know what I'm talking about, read this quick:
http://www.oldgmctrucks.com/page0276.html I've got a '53 3/4 ton, so this would be an upgrade. Let me know and if so I'll make sure it is exactly what I need, but it looks like it. Thanks Paul |

Re: 3/4 Ton Rear End / Disc Front
Paul, I did a shipping quote thru FedEx based on 75lbs and a box 20x20x20 to 68626 zip and it was $46.12. I'm not sure what the center section weighs exactly so the 75lbs is a guesstimate. If that is something that would work for you, I'd be willing to ship. It might end up costing less and I'd help out there if I can also. Let me know. Greg

Re: 3/4 Ton Rear End / Disc Front
If it came out of a '69 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive with coil springs and an automatic tranny, it should fit according to that article. I'm gonna post the number on the stovebolt site but assuming the gears are still good, I do want it and I'll pay $100 for it and shipping assuming the shipping is "around" what you guessed (I'll understand even if its a little more). You read that little article I posted didn't you? so you know I want everything as far as pumkin housing and all (basically everything that comes out when you pull the axles and remove the 10 bolts on the front). I'll send you a pm with my email address and phone number, could you give me a call as soon as you can? thanks

Re: 3/4 Ton Rear End / Disc Front
I found out something else useful today. The guys on the stovebolt site do think this should be the one I need (assuming its from a '69 3/4 ton, 2 wheel drive with auto tranny and coil springs). They said to verify the 4.10, the code should be stamped on the third member, on the front face and on the passenger side. If it's a 4.10 it should be either NA, NB, OT, OW, OY, or TF. If all this is the case and it's in good shape - I'll take it. Give me a call (I left you a pm).

Re: 3/4 Ton Rear End / Disc Front
Paul here are the pics, I looked for the code, but didn't find any that matched those you provided. There are 32 teeth on the ring gear. Thanks, Greg

Re: 3/4 Ton Rear End / Disc Front
Cant believe you have not sold the disc set up. I too have one that I'm sitting on thinking I could turn it quickly if I needed to. Might just load it up on the scrap wagon next weekend. BUt I'll take the 72 BB motor mounts off of it first.
