Hub caps and seat belts

The hub caps are good driver quality condition. A couple small dings, faded paint, overall pretty decent. I believe they are correct for 73 and newer, half ron 2wd trucks, but can be used on the earlier wheels. The picture shows they need cleaned up. I took a few minutes and cleaned the bottom right cap to show how well they clean up. $40 shipped SOLD

Dark green seat belts. This is a partial set, One retractor with a matching buckle and belt and then one side without the retractor. they are in very good condition. $25 shipped.

Also have a partial set of blue belts. Two retarctors that are in very good condition. If they were turquoise or black I would have used these myself because I've never seen a set of retractors this clean before. The plastic covers are painted however. There is a belt with buckle missing. $25 shipped SOLD

If you mean cracks around the outer ring, then no splits. They are solid.

DesertCat, I've had a lot of people make offers then back off later. They get ahead of others willing to buy at the asking price and can end up burning a sale. This is no indictment of you in any way. I've reviewed the rules for selling etiquette (sp?) and this situation is not really addressed. I've also known too much stuff for a few years and done business with him several times.

Would you have felt any different if I had posted a no response, then accepted Eric as the buyer? Or am I commited to dealing with you first until a deal is accepted because you were first to respond? If that is the "unwritten rule" here, then so be it. I was wrong and you should have been the buyer. I've sold stuff off and on here for a few years and haven't had this situation before.

Afirmative. One blue buckle side, two blue retractor sides.

Sorry for my snotty reply, this isn't a big deal. Time for my vacation, been here way too long this time...

My mistake, you said 40 or offer and I thought I'd try an offer. Figured you would accept or stay firm in which case I would have gone ahead and ..... then that darn Eric came in and foiled my plan.

The buying/selling guidelines are (I'll be kind...) quite vague, presumably to give a lot of latitude to everyone here. What I read is first to respond, first rights. However, this doesn't necessarily mean it applies with offers... I can see your point and agree with you now that I've thought about it.

Take care,
D'Cat

No problem. We all have our moments. If I come across another set, I'll let you know.
