Anyone? Has anyone repaired or restored the door? I'm looking for a hinge.

Re: Bed side tool box

To my knowledge, nobody does. Just not enough trucks out there with it for any big company to pursue that product. Your best bet is to buy NOS or check at swap meets, sad to say.

Re: Bed side tool box

Have a locksmith unlock it. That is the only way ouside of cutting a hole in the bottom of the box to access the lock from the inside. WES

Re: Bed side tool box

Well, If a Hinge is all you need, Id suggest fabricating one, or going to the hardware store and seeing if you cant find a set that could work. These things get kinda expensive to replace/fix because they are rare.

On an unrelated note, what color orange is that?! Its almost exactly what im looking for, would you mind telling me what code/brand? Thanks! *(Zulu)*

Re: Bed side tool box

From what I was told, it's a 1940's Omaha Orange. I'll be changing it to gun metal gray..

Hope these pics help you John:

Re: Bed side tool box

AWESOME thanks for the whole truck shot too. It looks great and is EXACTLY What I was looking for. Hugger orange was a little to red for my taste.
