Original Looking Steel Rims w/ Hubcaps
Currently I have some aluminum american racing rims that came with my truck and I just hate the look of them. Where would I be able to find some original looking plain steel rims that the larger dog dish style hubcaps would fit on?
This is the style of hubcap I'm talking about: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-...Q5fAccessories I'd like to have a more original or plain look to my trucks wheels but it seems that plain steel rims are hard to find locally. I would need a 6 lug pattern steel rim that the hubcap style I posted above would fit for a 4x4. Is there another make/model I should be looking at that it may be easier to find the rims? I ask this because I saw a 90's chevy astro delivery van with steel rims and similar chevy hubcaps and boy was it frustrating seeing exactly what I'd want on my truck but out of my reach. Any help/tips for finding this kind of wheel/hubcap set up is appreciated, thanks! |

Too bad you are so far away - I still have the orginials off our 69, rims and caps... bowties though.
I'd recommed searching craigslist...

Do a search for steelies in the parts forum... they are here and you'll likely get them cheaper than ebay.
I did the exact same thing!
