Thank-you coming from you this means a lot, your truck IMO is one of the best if not the best trucks on this forum!!!! I was thinking that it does need come down a little more. I know in the front I can do 2 inch springs but what can I do in the back since I already have shackles and hangers?

The drums are on my list of to do's when I get the truck back and start reassembly but I'm at a dilemma with the interior color now. It was originally Saddle and since the truck has been at the body shop I have dyed all the interior plastics black using SEM products. After seeing the color I'm thinking Saddle may be a better option. Opinions?

Thanks, I see you are from Edingburg, I'm originally from Raymondville. Believe it or not that's where I had the truck painted :-)

You have a few options:

De-arch the springs
Remove the overload or one in the middle of the pack
Do what I'm fixing to do and put the stock hangers/shackles back on and get a flip kit.

Truck looks great by the way, I think a little more drop wont hurt it. Post up some pictures of it fully in the sunlight when you can.....

Re: Paint finally complete

My friend has a 72 Chevelle SS454 that looks just like that color. Most people think it's black but when the sun hits it theres a brown, almost gold metal flake in it. He's had it since new and repainted it twice (he owns a bodyshop). When he repainted it a couple years ago the paint was no longer available, so he had to make his own with alittle trial and error. I think he said the car came from Canada and the color wasn't really used here.

I would DEFINITELY go with saddle for the interior.

I kept them when I removed them for the drop shackle and hangers, so mine will be coming from my storage building, lol.

Other than that, I guess a salvage yard or LMC???
