I don't have one yet, but I'd like to soon. And I just want to keep up with what you all are posting.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Well over after 2 years of her sitting in the garage, I finally got her put together enough to take her out for a spin through the neighborhood. I have no interior in her yet, and no door seals, so she's a bit loud inside, but I don't care...... she lives once again...

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
I paid less that a thousand for my Burb with no motor,no trans. It came from Arizona. In 1995 it came to Texas where it sat backed into a carport for 12 years. It is very straight and for the most part rust free.Great patina, and a great original interior. With the exception of the drivers seat and headliner above driver, dash pad and steering wheel the interior is gorgeous.I will have it on the road soon.
Enjoy, tell me what yall think it might be worth or what you think of her, thanks

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
The newest edition... My Uncle purchased this brand new in 1972! It needs a driver side rocker panel and there's a small amount of rust in the very rear lower panels but its hands down in better shape then my 70. The interior is in really nice shape as well with both seats being recovered. Since I have so many projects I think I am just going to combine the two trucks and make one really nice 4wd sub.

This photo brings back fond memories.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Here is my 71 Burb. Threw in a before picture of the front before I upgraded a very tired 350 with a 383 stroker. Still needs a bit of body work.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Wow awesome site. I was told about this site a week ago by ETsC10 and decided to add some pictures of my 72 burban driving project.
I picked this up February of last year and it was really rough and moldy on the inside with the stock interior and alot of rust in the rockers, quarters and floorboards that I quickly replaced. I also cleaned up the inside, putting in new carpet and seats (changing them out again this summer to a different set with buckets). Then I painted the panels and added a good steering wheel. Next project is the exterior. I'm looking to added the lower trim (if I can find a good set) and lower this land yacht with coils and shocks if I could figure out the right drop. |
