My new 67 Driver

I bought this 67 on Ebay last week from Denver. It's a lot more solid than anything we find around here and I've always had a soft spot for 67's. The previous owner shortened the bed and did a pretty fair job. The frame is welded a little crooked. 327 four speed 3/4 ton sold new in Santa Ana, CA. Power nothing. Just the custom trim package. All I've done so far was fabricate some air bags into the back and cut two coils out of the front and eliminate the bump stops all the way around. It drives amazing! I want to go lower but need to do a c-notch in order to do so. Not a big deal since the frame is junk anyway. I have a 5 lug short frame to go under it but thought since everything works fine now I would just leave it for the summer. Future plans are to paint the box to match. Can I just shoot it with a base/clear and not shoot the clear? Will it match to some extent? Here's some before and after pics.
