Seatbelt Buckle Cover and Button Removal ?

How do you remove the plastic seatbelt buckle cover from the buckle without damaging it. I carefully tried to pry it off but it won't budge and I don't want to break it. Once removed does the button come out easily?

Exploring options to replace the buttons with a good logo'd button if I can fine a good used set. I sure someone has done this

Someone suggested a hair dryer to soften the plastic first. I can break easily.

That's exactly what I was looking for, and a big thanks to 70LonghornCST for the how to thread.
