WTB: Steel 327 Larger Journal Crank

Let me know what you have. Will also consider cast and 307 cranks. Thanks

you might want to try jc whitney they have crankshafts cheap.

I have an old 307 crank out of a 69 el camino. Its been sitting wraped up for the last 2 years in my store room. If you came here to south Texas you chould have it for 100 dollars. for another 100 I trow in the crane true roller that was on the motor too.

The 307 crank would work, it's the same as a 327 large journal crank. I think they might have been interchangeable. Check the casting number on the 307 crank. It might be for both. Would be worth the $100 if it was ready to put in.

From what Mortec.com says, these are interchangeable: 3911001, 3911011, and 3941174. They are all 307, 327 Medium (Large) Journal 3.25 inch stroke.

I've found a few large journel steel 327 cranks in 68 C20s. I still have one but I've been saving it back for the same reason I suspect you're wanting one. "The 350 Chevy should have built" I'de be interested in knowing how it works out for you if that's what you're up to. Thanks.....Stroker

can you get bearings to fit the 327 crank in the 400 block? That would be a cool engine!!

yes you can. I believe they would be the same bearings people use to make a 377ci engine.
