help with temp light
just getting her back on the road....
new temp light sending unit in pass head of sbc. the temp light comes on REALY DIM after a few minutes of running.... truck runs fine and doesnt appear to be hot (I can grab the rad hoses briefly, but i need to get the infarred gun out) ideas? thanks! |

is the one hooked up on the drivers side? That's the one for the guage. The one on the passenger is for the smog equipment that controls the spark advance.

guess i shoulda provided more info... Ima DUH ME! its a '67 as bare as it got with a 283. i put a 350 in it. sender is on the pass side. pretty sure that is where it was on 283 but there was only one. it has no smog equip. i bought a new idiot light sending unit when i installed the 350. maybe its bad? |

Could you have gotten a sending unit for a gauge instead of a light?
