from the facotory options?

My truck from the factory came with a 4 row radiator, heavier leaf springs and a step bumper with a hitch. Did the dealer offer towing packages? or does this sound like a custom camper. there was no emblems on the truck or anything in the spid.

if it isn't on the SPID, then it wasn't equipped.
No such thing as a tow package
most step bumbers were added after the truck was built

Re: from the facotory options?

Back then there was no towing package. But,you could order what would constitute a towing package by ordering the individual items, such as HD springs (leaf or coil),HD shocks,HD radiator, gear ratio, mirrors (camper mirrors or Sr. West Coast),HD clutch,HD trans, and in '72 the step bumper. I'm not sure if the prior year step bumpers weren't a dealer item.
