Drum vs. Disk brake line size

I have a 69 k10 that I am converting from drum manual brakes to power disc brakes. I have a 3/4 ton booster, m/c and proportioning valve in place, and need to hook up the brake lines to the proportioning valve on the outlet side but the old lines are different size's. I'm wondering if anybody can tell me the right way to connect them.

Here is a picture of a 3/4 ton power brake booster as installed. Note the front reservoir of the MC goes to the rear of the prop valve and the rear brake line is routed out the of the rear of the prop valve using 1/4" line.

The rear reservoir goes to the front of the prop valve and is routed to the front discs using 3/16" line from the prop valve.

Here's a question that I have. Currently my '68 has drums all around. I am swapping everything over to 4 wheel discs. I found in another post that I can use the factory '68 distribution valve but does it matter if all of the hard lines are 1/4"?

I know later disc/drum trucks use 3/16" lines for the disc and 1/4" for the drum but since I am going all four disc, I would think it should not matter that the lines are 1/4" all around instead of 3/16" all around.

Any thoughts?

I have a 66 k10. Im only putting disc brakes on the front and leaving my stock rear drum. My brake line size is all the same. Do I need to change one of the lines to accomodate the disc brakes?
