how much do you think its worth?
hi, im not usually on this side of the site since i have a 97. but i was wondering what you guys thought this truck is worth i really want it but to me it doesnt seem like its worth 1000 for just a roller since the engine needs a rebuild and the tranny. so i guess what would you guys offer for it? oh yeah its a 72.

Re: how much do you think its worth?
That 72 has a 69/70 grille on it..
But that truck would easily be worth $1000 around here if it's not completely rotted out. |

Re: how much do you think its worth?
It's got a 69 70 grill in it. How rusty is it? Could be worth 1k easily or could be worth 100, depends on condition of the rest of the truck. I gave 500 for mine with no motor or trans and needed rockers. It was also a short step and needed a floor in the bed. This was 15 years ago though.

Re: how much do you think its worth?
72 should have 5 lugs with front discs....does it have them?
Location makes a big difference in value... It is a shortbed which helps value...but as a roller I personally wouldn't pay more than 5-600 unless the body was really nice. If it's (not likely) almost rust free...I'd pay 1000 for it easily. Is it by chance 4wd? Looks higher than a 2wd in the back....if it's 4wd....it's easily worth 1000...

Re: how much do you think its worth?
Okay, since it's a 4wd....GO FOR IT!!! Make an offer for 700 but 1000 is reasonable unless it's a rust bucket. I had a friend sell just a 4wd frame and title for 1800 last year...

Re: how much do you think its worth?
so it might be older then since the emblem is on the hood or just swapped out but i think those ones look better then the 72 grille imo

Re: how much do you think its worth?
there are a lot of people looking for short bed frames and now you can buy the short beds now for 1500.00 complete or find a factory one for 1000 makes the turn around on that trucks much better

Re: how much do you think its worth?
Looks like it's in North Dakota by the plates. If it's near Bismarck I could check it out for you. We don't see a lot of salt use here so it COULD be a pretty decent body.
