Hey good luck !!I just bought a 69 GMC 3/4 ton... From the original owners widow. truck is darn near perfect. Looked for about two years before I found this one. Maybe we can share info on our truck builds. Doing a once over on the engine, plugs wires, full tune up...
I've a friend with a older Burb who used the Classic Enterprises front drop spindles they hooked up to all the underpinnings no problem... put on 5X5 pattern disk brake setup as well. Then put in some 5X5 axles and freeway gears in the back. runs out really nice. I'm keeping mine 8 lug for awhile. Val Medford Oregon |
