Will my 68 rear shoes/cylinders fit a 72 rearened?

I just bought a 72 rearend i just put new brakes on my 68 rearened like 3 months ago, will the 68 shoes fit the 72 rearend? Will the clinders fit too?

They should. I would try them and find out. all you really should have to look at is the cylinders bolts and bleed fitting to make sure they are all in the same spot. Least that would be my understanding of what would cause them not to fit.

They should fit as long as both rear ends are from the same type of truck (i.e. 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton). Otherwise the pads are different sizes.
