67 grille/hood
i wanna put a cowl hood on my 70 but i like the 67/68 style hood and i also like the 67 style gmc grille with the GMC in the center. ive also already shaved the markers. so hat mods do i have to do to get the grille/hood to fit up? Also is goodmark hoods better than triplus stuff?. hopefully its not ALL that difficult to modify thanks -kyle.

I love my goodmark hood . I have one on my 71 and I had one on my 82 k10, no problems. I have a friend that is clearing off his late fathers property and there is several 67-72 trucks there . I know he has a front grill for the 67-8 . I know he wants all the chevy stuff gone so I could prob. get it cheap.

You'll need the 67/68 fenders...or fenders from any GMC. You will also need the rad core support.

Woah, i shoulda looked at your screen name. I thought you had a chevy.
The 67 was without eyebrows at all...here is a pic of one. I think it was just straight up grill with no bolt ons except the headlight bezels. |

Get the parts and put them on! No change should be needed! That is one great thing about the GMC's any body parts from one year will fit on any other year with only two small exceptions: One is the obviouse no marker lights in 67 and the other is the doors in 72, you can use a 72 door on any other year but a 72 inside door panel will not mount on any door other than a 72 year due to some additional bracing that was put inside the door!
