vent window handle kit.
Are LMC's vent window handle kits any good? Will they last a long time? And are they hard to install?

Re: vent window handle kit.
I have been happy with them. Purchased several years back, holding up well.

Re: vent window handle kit.
Pretty straight forward once you get into it. It has a good exploded diagram that comes with it. Several gasket options included for different years of truck. I think I remember the roll pin they send is really long and they tell you to cut it to length, but I think I just used the stock one in it's place. Also, I like to use some loc-tite on the main center bolt holding the non-handle part together.

Re: vent window handle kit.
I did mine a few years back but don't remember anything too difficult.
For $14 (at least at the time I bought the kit), it was worth it to cut out the wind noise, even if they only last a few years?

Re: vent window handle kit.
I think it is just the thickness of glass used...
you will figure it out. |

Re: vent window handle kit.
I agree. If the glass is thicker I believe I should use the thinner rubber. I got the left one fixed . I then used the incorrect rubber pieces on the other one. I think it will work too. It is just a little loose.
