Well, I got the '69 sold today. The guy picks it up tonight. It's certainly a bittersweet moment, getting rid of my pride and joy. In a lot of ways, I'm sad to see it go, but my needs have changed in a vehicle, and I couldn't afford to hold on to it any longer.
For the time being, I guess that means I'm without a truck (I'm buying a '68 Dodge Dart 270 next week). When I get a little money, I'd love to get back into a truck. K10? K20? CUCV? I'll have to figure it out when the time comes. I can't say I'm leaving the board, too much fun on here! You guys have a lot of enthusiasm and knowledge about our trucks, and it's been a pleasure. And with that, one last look as it leaves me: ![]()

Re: Temporarily Truckless
Hate to see her change hands, but maybe the new owner will join the board.

Re: Temporarily Truckless
Sorry to hear about your needs changing, but I know what you mean. I once sold my only transportation, a '65 SWB C-10, to buy my two girls some Christmas. We do what we have to do, as best we can.
As for the Dart....I once bought a '66 GT hardtop, 273/Torqueflite...yellow with black interior. Drove it 2 miles, sold it and doubled my money. Oh, that was back before I had that truck that I sold to buy Christmas. Good old days....sure thing, buddy.
