Spindal question for an '87?

I just put rims on my 1987 Suburban, but the spindal and nut comes out too far past the wheel so i am not able to place the center cap on. It is a must that I be able to tuck the wheel due to future bags. Is there a way to fix this without using adapters. I'm don't know much about the this stuff as i'm sure you can tell. please help! Thanks!

Some wheels unfortunately have this issue. Guys will get creative by machining the hub as much as possible to get things to fit. Or, some wheels you can make spacers for the center cap to gain the req'd clearance. Some you just have to use wheel spacers.....

What kind of wheel is it you're trying to mount?

I have 24" Dub Esinems, I don't even think an spacer will give me enough clearance. I may need to get wheel adapters, which will prevent me from slamming the the truck the way I want it.

Dude Ive always liked those rims. I want to see what these look like on our bodystyle trucks. Do you have any pictures?

That seems to be a problem with these imported chrome wheels. You are probably going to have backspace issues also. I hope you checked the lock to lock on steering before mounting the tires, that is if you bought the wheels new. If it is the snout of the spindle and not the nut itself you may be able to trim it back a little. If it hits the nut itself you are going to have to run an adapter or a spacer of some sort.
Personally i think the wheel does not fit the "look" of these trucks. Good luck with it and post up the solution for everyone else to see.
