hood latch
My hood doesn't want to close all the way on my '68. I looked in LMC and they have different part #'s for 67-68 Chevy/GMC, 69-70 Chevy, 71-72 Chevy (apparently if you have a 69-72 GMC your screwed??) Anyway, could I have the wrong year/make? How can I tell the difference?
By the way the doors shut when SLAMMED any hints on those?

Re: hood latch
brock fro the pic in your avatar your hood is correct for the rest of your truck but you will need to make sure the hinges are in fair working order and not bent or creased which could then disable you from moving in certain areas, also you will need to adjust the "finger"type thing thats on the underside of the hood it uses 4 1/2 inches adjust that to the striker on the radiator support and grille. if it still does not shut then you may have a drifferent striker, gmc maybe?
