Of course we would like to see someone take on those two tough parts and see what it really takes to make them fit right. Stacey did say it takes extra work to make repro parts work---so they didn't use them. Half of the doors I sell come back. The guys just don't know how to make them fit---or it is just too much work. They go back to originals and fix them.
It looked like he put the 69-72 thick rad support bushings on with the 67 CS & fenders. Shouldn't that sit too high in front? 67 used a thin rubber spacer.
As far as ECE's great repo stuff "They sell Goodmark,NOT their own version" ECE will tell you straight up that Goodmarks doors are JUNK unless your willing to put alot of time into them.I don't represent ECE or have anything to do with them, its just they have been very upfront on EVERYTHING I have bought from them and I have never had an issue. Lets be realistic here, if we had a chance to get NOS or Original doors and fenders wouldn't we want them on our truck too, I know I would.
Also Stacy David produces a TV show. He cannot possibly have time to show every little detail involved with putting a truck together. Question? Would we rather watch one of our trucks being put together or watching another re-run of Star Trek. I just think we need to be realistic with our expectations on a 1/2 hour TV show. Lets be glad its a chevy truck and not a F@#d.
