fuel pump?

my sons 91 s10 blazer is not getting enough fuel. changed fuel filter no change. could it be anything other than the fuel pump? can't find a pressure gauge to borrow.

How do you know it is not getting enough fuel? Are we talking fuel injection or carburator? What changed to make you think you are not getting enough fuel?
Too many questions and too many unknowns to help with endless possibilities.
Need more info. . .

the spray going into the throttle body is weak. I can squirt gas in and it runs

A good first step is to find out what the pump pressure is.

if I could get my hands on a pressure gauge I wouldn't be askin, no one seems to have one. the parts stores that loan tools never seem to loan the ones you really need

Yeah, I read that part, but you should do that before spending money on a pump or injector. The tester is not too expensive to purchase and may save you some money and headaches. After you're done with and don't think you'll ever need it, you can sell it.
