cant find a double clip master cylinder
cant find a double clip master cylinder at any of the local auto parts stores and the only one I can find is a single and the reservoir are different sizes.....my big brake line is in the back and that doesnt seem right for to big line to be with the small reservoir

I have disk breaks up front drum in the back and no brake booster

well this is what i used but i also used the matched brake booster but i don't see why it wouldn't work anyway that is the master cylinder for a 73+ any of your parts stores should have it

Manual brake have a deeper hole for the pushrod to seat. Power brakes have a shallow hole because it mates the the booster, not the actual rod the connects tot he pedal... They were worried the rod could come unseated from the master cylinder, hense the deep hole.

hmmm I have always used a double clip and so has my dad, he even hod one that was square up front...... just wonder why I cant find one anymore, I know ccp has one and also have a nice custom one but im not sure which one to get if I cant find a double clip

I kept getting the 'newer 1 clip one' and orielly finally got me the 2 clip Mc
Dunno what it is. I like the look of 2 clip MC better though

The double clip is a delco type cylinder, the single is a bendix type cylinder. They are in function the absolute same, the form is different and that is all. You can use the single clip in place of your original double and have no problem. The small bowl in the rear is for drum brakes in the rear and uses the larger line due to the lower need for pressure for the wheel cylinder. The larger cylinder is for the front due to the higher pressure required for disc and the smaller line causes the increased line pressure. Small equal high pressure, large line equal low pressure.
