This ground strap hooks up where?
You can see it bolted to the firewall just above where the clutch rod boot is. This is a 70 K10. It was never hooked up on this truck. It is longer than the one on the passenger side. Thanks.

The trucks i have seen, it would be under a valve cover bolt.

On my 69 there is a bolt hole behind the head where it attached to. Should be bolt hole on the front and an identical in the backside.

Re: This ground strap hooks up where?
I've always used the valve cover bolt on that side.

Re: This ground strap hooks up where?
Thanks, guys. I will go with the valve cover bolt. The passenger side ground was still hooked up when I pulled the original engine, bolted to the back of the head, like alot of you guys said. Hopefully I will see if this thing is going to run by tomorrow.
