Sorry your right I meant to go heavier. This was harder for buddy to work with because it was so thin, and bed floor underneath was far from perfect.

About the drop,I'm not really sure was lowered before I purchased. Id hate to give you wrong info. As for bed floor, I saw a truck at Goodguys and liked the way it looked. Bed floor was cut too many times and dented. A new bed floor is too expensive and for 85.00 in sheet metal and paying a buddy to weld it seemed like a better way to go. When truck is bedlined it will look totally smooth, no ribs, no bolts that will show. I will post bed after bedliner sprayed. Just low on funds.

Well, I guess one of my favorite stepsides from this board is now one of my favorite fleets.... darn. The Intro Pentia is also one of my favorite all time wheels.

I have thought about changing my stepper into a fleet, but I just can't make the change. I love the way the steppers look the best.
Now if you're gonna blow a 454 and tub the back? Well then you need a fleetside...  I guess I'll just keep my stepper the way she is  D

No worries guys, I was reading threads and had no idea that was my thread. I no longer have stepside bed,it was a straight trade. I replaced engine and had to have transmission rebuilt. I went with a 383. I haven't even been able to do the bedliner yet. I ordered a Monstaliner kit that will be here Monday. I'm going to post thread with pictures, for better or worse.
