Ram assist power steering hose rebuild?
I am restoring my 67's ram steering assist. i have it all done and now i get to the hoses. i have new omega hoses. they will work but don't fit into the original locations where the brackets hold them in place. I have been told by a local hose fabricator that the originals are not rebuildable. I would like to know if anyone out has had theirs rebuilt or knows of a place that can do this for me.picture below but shows the hoses im talking about. mostly just need the ram to cylender hoses restored. Rod.

Re: Ram assist power steering hose rebuild?
the pump and valve are new restored and the ram was rebuit all professionally. i just would like to have the hoses routed correctly between the valve and ram and they dont make them aftermarket . i even have new correct hoses from the pump to the valve. just need the 2 between the ram and the valve as shown in the pic.

Re: Ram assist power steering hose rebuild?
the pics i posted were before i had the parts restored. the corvette hoses have different bends in the metal lines than the truck. the corvettee hoses i believe will work but they wont line up with the bracket that holds the line steady and clear of the A arm and without that it will rub on the A arm. sorry for the confusion.

Re: Ram assist power steering hose rebuild?
here are current pictures and this is why i want my originals rehosed. you can see on the omega hoses the hoses will not line up with the mounting bracket. they just hang out there. and one has a shorter rubber hose than the other. last pic is of my originals. would have the ends replated before rehosing for show too.
