The Ecklers link with the crossmember, that's what you want. The cracked frame is not pretty. I'd avoid the ebay bolt in ear things like the plague.

Was your frame boxed from the crossmember to the firewall on both sides?

Well, that's a great explanation, thanks! I was just looking at my stock manifolds today; they're cleanly blasted. Just won't know for sure I'd I'm going to use these or not. no hurry here! ; )
