The bronze truck & Lucy both used dropped spindles & stock a-arms. The bronze truck had a coil cut from the stock 6cyl springs; Lucy had 7"/2600lb bags. Stella M has PB tubular front control arms top & bottom w/7" bags.

For what it's worth.... dropped lower control arms tend to exaggerate the already bad issue of the lowest point of contact on the front ends of these trucks. If you're swapping to bags, I would use drop spindles & weld a bag plate flat across the bottom of the lower arm vs having a dropped cup hanging below that point.
