I use a relay for each side and one for the Hella 500s. Since they are all the same relay, I can use the driving lights relay for a spare for the headlights and I carry one in the glove box as well. Never needed either one. The Hella 7" H-4 headlights and the Hella 500 driving lights can MELT a Mercededs trunk lid at 200 yards on 13.8v!
