Power Mirrors?

Wondering if any of you builders have installed power mirrors on your 60's Chevy or GMC trucks?

I'm lazy and would love to have full power door locks, windows and mirrors.

And out of curiosity, did the 64 Chevy C10 not come with a rear view mirror in the cab? Mine does not have one.

Thanks,
Scott

Re: Power Mirrors?

Not sure what mirrors you would use. I was looking at tossing my wing windows and putting in something cool, but noting fit or looked good IMO. My power locks are done, though.

Re: Power Mirrors?

Two interior rear view mirrors were available. Standard and Non-Glare as an option. 64 Non-Glare had a flipper mechanism on the bottom of the mirror that had DAY and NIGHT cast into the black plastic flipper with a white inset. Both these mirrors were shared by the car line. The interior mirror arm was unique to the trucks however.

I was looking at power mirrors on a bunch of junkers here in town at the wrecking yard.

It looks like a power mirrow set from a late model corvette would work.

The mounting of the arm will be the issue. Also saw some mirrors on a motorcycle that looked good but they weren't power.

Somewhere, someone has done this and I bet it wasn't that hard to do.

And a big thank you to AeroTruck for the inside mirror information.

Thanks,
scott
