Vintage Air AC System Gen IV... '73-'87
There was a thread on this topic not too long ago, but I wanted to revamp it. I wanted to ask some basic questions and give other forum members a chance to do the same.
Personally, I have saved up enough money to purchase the following kit: 944175 1973-80 Chevy Truck Complete Kit (factory air truck) I will pull the trigger once I know where I can save the most money.

The Gen IV series are all SureFit Electric Systems.

You will have to have someone charge the unit, and you will need additional coolant while you are there. I downloaded the instruction manual, and it looks like pretty much everything else is included, as far as I can tell.

Well the cab I got is a NON - AC cab so once I get the rest of the truck done. I will be looking at one of these systems as well
