Tire guys
Looking some some narley yet small 15in tires for winter, some real diggers that will tear up the ice n snow.
beyond what I can find on tirerack and stuff, maybe someone gets into off road or 4 wheeler stuff and can recc something??? doesn't need to carry allot of load, just can't be to big. something to fit on a 15x8 rim but with bite from hell. something I can swap from truck, to wagon to firebird and know it will fit, yes I said firebird too. Its a terror in winter if I got bite with the stick.

Re: Tire guys
This should also fit the firebird in 235/75 15 size--should fit a 15x6,7,8 rim: Which generation firebird?
http://www.maxxis.com/AutomobileLigh...ot-Mudder.aspx Note that i don't know jack about 4x4/off roading etc., but i've heard/read good things about the buckshot radial mudders. Plus, just looking at them they seem very serious. Will provide more info i have time, which i may not. Update: ok i saw you have a 3rd gen firebird, this should still fit, but you realize that the bolt pattern is different on the wagon? Last edited by C-10 simplex; 09-02-2011 at 06:05 PM. Re: Tire guys
I have been satisfied with the performance of the off branded Cooper made Arctic Claw TXi.
They are studable, and have good bare/dry road manners as well. Not too pricey and seem to be wearing very well. The ones on my truck have 3 winters on them, and my car has 1 winter so far (obviously I liked them enough to put them on another vehicle), with plenty of life left in them yet. Re: Tire guys
Thanks for the tips
And C-10 simplex I got my own HF tire changer, and a few sets of dual bolt rims. Im always swaping something around, just can't balance em yet. Though its only $13 to get 2 tires balanced at walmart. |
