70 c10 short step side.. all stock, c notch at rear, plate and 2 in cup for lower arm in front.. what is the best air bag 2 get. what do you recomend ive never had bags before..

The 6's will require slightly more air pressure to achieve similar heights compared to a 7.

If you achieved your desired ride height @ 25psi using the 7" bag, it might not have enough air pressure to support the weight &/or offer the best ride (the ride might be 'bouncy'). Swap the 6" bag in place, it will require more air psi to achieve that same desired ride height (lets say 35psi). Now you have the same overall ride height, but w/slightly greater air pressure in the bag, the ride is improved & smooth because the greater air pressure increases the 'spring rate'.

This can also work in the opposite direction.... if there's too harsh of a ride using the 6" bag because you have to utilize greater operating pressures, the 7" bag could achieve the same height while using less pressure.

Another possibility is the amount of space available.

SS-7's up front to handle the weight of the engine.
Some like a smaller bag in the rear since there isn't much weight there.
(for a better ride)
I have the old version,... RE-7's on all four corners of my blazer.

EDIT: I type to slow.
Plus SCOTI explaiined it much better than me.

Supposedly the SS version has about 1" more lift.
They are cheaper also.

Member tcb-1, confirmed they ballooned more than the Slams,... on his '60 Cadillac.
This created a rubbing issue.
He sold them and bought Slams.
If you have a ton of room around the bag they will be fine.
(the quality of the Air Lift bag is fine also)

With bumpstop brackets and sway bars, mounted to the a-arm, on these old trucks,... I'd rather use the Slam Specialties bag.

I don't think it's neccessary.
I don't have one on my blazer.
But you need to have seperate air lines to control each bag individually.

(don't "T" them together)
This will cause air to transfer between the bags as you go around corners.
(creating more body roll)
