hi from aussie
Hi to all you guys n gals. New to the forum here. We just purchased this one owner '48 truck and plan on a pickup build. It will be our daily driver when finished. I used to drive a rodded '37 chev sedan as a daily, then an "A" roadster as often as I could, so the '48 should be fun. Anyhow, as I said, new to here and have found this to be a great site. Cheers, Bryan and Angela |

Hey Codger welcome aboard. Get some interior shots for us. Never seen one with a backwards dash, well backwards from what we are use to seeing.

What is an AD??? have seen the term on here a bit. While I am at it, what is the difference between the years, say '47 to '52? It's good to get back into this chev as I drove a '37 street rodded sedan for about 6 years as my daily driver. |

Re: hi from aussie
Advance Design, with a Holden ID chances are it was built here, Fishermans Bend, Dandenong or Adelaide. I'll ask the old man if they built'em here, he worked in GM Dandenong from the 60s until 79, he might know some history on them? Cheers!

Re: hi from aussie
Cool, that would be great. The old guy I bought it from has a bit of memory loss going on, & can't remember a lot about it.
