Driveshafts
Looking at the DS in my 250 stepper truck, and the driveshaft in my 402 fleet truck, the shafts look the same. Now my truck was a longbed shortened to a shorty, doesn't look like the shortened the DS so they must have used a shorty DS assembly.
question is, what is the difference between a BB shaft and the others? Other than i understand the yokes were different, whas the shaft a larger diameter? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Glen

Re: Driveshafts
a good shop could shorten the shaft and make it look like it was never messed with. The shop we deal with at work does this kind of work.
As far as I know, therre is no difference... the shaft in my longhorn (originally a 350 truck) looks to be the same diameter as the shaft in my big block burb. |
